Instructions for Bike Trailer/Buggy

The instructions on how to strap 1 or 2 children into the trailer are written on the trailer itself – please read carefully.

Please note it is required that children wear helmets when using the trailer – Helmets can be rented from any of the bike shops in town.
The trailer can be used with the Ladies KTM bike or the Gents bike only as these have the necessary connector. The connector can be found on the back wheel axel of the bike.

The combination lock for the trailer is available to you if you contact us. Please ensure the trailer is locked when not in use.

The trailer can be used as a bike trailer or as a child's buggy. We would specifically like to draw your attention to the following –
  • there is no brake when the trailer is used as a buggy
  • the trailer can tip over when attached to a bike or when used as a buggy.

Please note the procedure below to convert from trailer to buggy and vice versa.

To convert from a trailer to a buggy

 1.  Disconnect the trailer tow bar from the bike. Wrap the safety strap around the tow bar  and clip in place to ensure it will not drag  along ground. Keep Pin safely as it will  be used later.

2. Unhook the pin at the trailer end of the tow bar and bend the tow bar under the trailer – attaching the pin again to fix tow bar in place.

3.  Remove the front wheel from the side of the trailer and attach with pin (from step 1) to the connector
at the front of the trailer. The buggy is now ready for use
